We provide support when a client needs:
- A detailed understanding of the economic, social or ecological context before deciding about investment and approach;
- A solid analysis to better understand opportunities and risks in terms of economic, social or environmental implications and unintended consequences;
- To decide on what approach and measures will have lasting success;
We offer professional studies and detailed analyses for the economic, social or ecological context at initiation up to opportunities and risks of planned projects. Where such studies already exist, we also create plans for the implementation of projects and long term programs.
Our experience in the analysis of economic, social or ecological context is valuable for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects.
Clients will determine the focus and objectives of the study. We advise clients on the methods and will inform about linkages and correlations between economic, social and environmental factors, e.g. factors influencing the perceptions of key stakeholders.
Some examples from practice are:
- Analysis of stakeholders’ interests and concerns for a planned enclosure for orphaned black bears, Canada
- Study on the ecological value of and social acceptance for priority areas of protection in the Alps, Europe
- Feasibility study for a deer park in an urban center, Germany
- Planning and implementation of a public participation process for a planned nature protection area adjacent to a metropolis, Germany
